Fascinating, John, especially in comparison to Ruwedel's photo which seems do different. I am curious to know if you did one more exposure there or if you felt strongly that this is the only angle of the view you wish to capture.
I spent about 2 hours here finding the right spot and setting up the camera on the loose rocky embankment, then had to wait for the clouds to shade the sun a bit. I took one slide exposure (this one) and a negative. I looked at some other angles including closer to the tracks but none interested me because they were not as layered as this one. Ruwedel nailed the ground level version never to be repeated because as I said the pillar dominating the left side of his frame is now gone.
